“A year together in the Word of God”
The Daily Walk is about encouraging each other to read through the Bible in a year. It’s a commitment we can do together. Join the Journey and start reading on January 1st.
Here are several ways for you to get started:
- Pick up a copy of “The Daily Walk Bible”. This Bible is available on Sunday mornings in the North Commons, and in the main office during the week. The cost is $12.
- Use your own Bible and follow along with the daily reading schedule.
- Is it easier for you to listen to the daily readings? Use the daily reading schedule to stay on track, and listen to an audio Bible (NIV).
- Strike out on your own. If you read three chapters a day, you will get through the Bible in a year. There are other variations of Bible reading schedules online, just search for “Daily Bible Reading”.
If the reading load is too heavy for you, simply read some Scripture every day, or combine your reading with listening to the audio files. Commit to this each day, and you’ll probably read more of the Bible than you have in the past.
Make this the year you read through the Bible! Go out and get your family and friends involved, to challenge and encourage one another through the year. If you happen to miss a day or two or week or month, just jump back in.
Can you imagine the look on God’s face? Can you imagine the pleasure in His heart? Commit yourself to this today. Join the Journey!
