One of the most profound discoveries of our spiritual life comes when we recognize that all we have comes from God, and that our giving is really just returning his gifts in a response of gratefulness. Over and over again in the life of our church family we’ve seen this flow of generosity and gratitude: God provides, we give thanks, we give back…God provides, we give thanks, we give back…and on it goes.
We’re thankful for what God provides through the regular, consistent and sacrificial giving of God’s people to support Faith Evangelical Free Church and all of its ministries. Giving at Faith:
General Fund: The expectation is that if you are a part of this local church, you give regularly and generously to the General Fund. The General Fund facilitates all of our day–to–day ministry including such things as Sunday services, Children’s and Student Ministries, Men’s and Women’s Ministries, Missions, hospitality for All–Church events, facility expenses, and staff compensation. All of this is made possible by the general contributions of those at Faith.
Above and Beyond Giving: From time to time, you will hear us speak of giving opportunities that are above and beyond your normal giving to the General Fund. Please pray about where God would direct you to give “above and beyond”… and then give generously! Ways to give “above and beyond” include:

Benevolence Fund: Our Benevolence Fund enables us to provide direct and timely assistance for short-term financial and physical needs of those in our church and often in the community of Fort Collins. In addition to your regular giving, you have opportunities for designated giving to our Benevolence Fund. Simply write “Benevolence Fund” in the memo line of your check.

Missions: While the church has a missions budget within the General Fund, each year there are various opportunities to give toward special missions projects that are outside of this budget, like short-term missions trips. Through special fundraising, we are able to further our reach while maintaining consistent missions support from our budget.

Disaster and poverty relief: We seek out ministries and organizations who work through local churches, and who are the best and most efficient at responding to disaster and poverty around the world with a high degree of efficiency, integrity and accountability.
Did you know that you can make your gift go further than you might imagine by giving Faith a gift of stock? We welcome gifts of marketable stocks and other securities. When giving a gift of appreciated stock, you may be able to avoid paying income tax on the capital gain, which means you can make a larger gift than you may have imagined.
