Giving

One of the most profound discoveries of our spiritual life comes when we recognize that all we have comes from God, and that our giving is really just returning his gifts in a response of gratefulness. Over and over again in the life of our church family we’ve seen this flow of generosity and gratitude: God provides, we give thanks, we give back…God provides, we give thanks, we give back…and on it goes.

We’re thankful for what God provides through the regular, consistent and sacrificial giving of God’s people to support Faith Evangelical Free Church and all of its ministries. Contributions from members and friends facilitate all we do at Faith. We trust that you’re visiting this page because you’ve been blessed and you’re seeking to give back.

We have made a commitment to high standards when it comes to accountability for the dollars given by our contributors. Our Standard Practices of financial accountability include:

  • Monthly financial review by our elders
  • CPA reviewed monthly financial reports available to members
  • Annual financial review by independent auditors Anderson and Whitney
  • Congregation meetings for operating budget approval and review
  • Confidential contribution statements for all contributors
The following are the funds to which contributions can be made:

General Ministry Fund: There is much that falls under this umbrella. The General Ministry Fund facilitates all of our day–to–day ministry including such things as Sunday services, Children’s Ministries, Student Ministries, Men’s and Women’s Ministries, hospitality for All–Church events, facility expenses, and staff compensation. All of this is made possible by the general contributions of those at Faith.

Benevolence Fund: Our Benevolence Fund facilitates our ability to provide directly for the short term financial and physical needs of those in our church and often in the community of Fort Collins. In addition to your regular giving, you have opportunities for designated giving to our Benevolence Fund. Simply write “Benevolence Fund” in the memo line of your check.

Endowment Fund: Faith has established an Endowment Fund for those members and friends who want to contribute a portion of their estate for eternal purposes by spreading the Gospel throughout the world. The purpose of Faith’s endowment is to facilitate significant ongoing ministry, and to provide funds for selected strategic projects as we seek God’s will in accomplishing His mission through Faith. Selection and implementation of projects for this purpose is accomplished during the annual planning process of the church. Contact the church office for specific information regarding how to give to this fund.

Special Projects: From time to time at Faith you will be provided the opportunity to give to special projects. These may include such things as short–term mission trips, global ministry projects, and significant building and/or debt reduction campaigns.

Everything you experience at Faith Evangelical Free Church reflects the collective contributions of those who make up this congregation. As you know from our ministries, our gifts and talents add up in tremendous ways.

Upon request, we would be happy to provide members with a copy of the church’s annual financial report and operating budget for the current fiscal year. If you have any questions about the church’s finances, or ways in which you can contribute to the Church, please contact our Administrator, Bob Vikse via email at bvikse@faithefc.org, or via phone at (970) 226–2095.
