The Great Commission makes it clear that the CHURCH universal is called to preach the gospel, make disciples, baptize and teach those God has prepared from all peoples (Mat. 28:19-20). In the book of Acts, God both instructs us and presents a model for us on how to multiply His CHURCH worldwide. We are instructed first to do these things in the area where God has established our local church, then out to ever widening spheres of influence, and finally to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8).
The Purpose of Missions at Faith is to fulfill our church Mission, sending forth people proven in ministry who cross distance, culture or language barriers to establish and strengthen local churches beyond Faith’s local sphere of influence:
• Through long-term missions partnerships
• By guiding short-term missions opportunities
